Our coaches have deep experience in program management, grant making, program evaluation, research and development, and international collaboration. They share the same beliefs:
- Successful society development is about achieving deliberate outcomes.
- The objective is to engage only in activities that lead to outcomes
- Program theory is an approach that is mature enough to not only be used for evaluation, but also for fundamental strategic planning of complex initiatives.
We started OpenEye 2002 as a spin-off from a Swedish-American collaboration housed at Stanford University. The approach we developed during that collaboration has continuously evolved and improved within OpenEye to a full straightforward methodology. Today we help governmental agencies, schools and universities, grantee organizations and grant makers to align stakeholder interests, set priorities, and achieve tangible outcomes such that they can determine success. In essence we reduce time-to-impact through a model that values fairness, voice and affiliation.
OpenEye´s clients and partners range from Sweden to the United States, meaning that our work is constantly on the edge of what is happening worldwide with trends in philanthropy, civil society, global development and organizational impact.
