The University of Wisconsin-Madison partners with us to reach the goal of better integrating instructional technology for teaching and learning
Client profileThe University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education consistently ranks among the top schools of education in the nation. U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of graduate programs for 2007 (Best Graduate School Choices for 2007) rated the School seventh in the nation and ranked six of its core departments and programs among the top three in the nation. Client needWith so many highly ranked programs and departments, the School’s leadership does not want to slip. Strong policy and strategic planning are essential to the School's enduring success. Ensuring that instructional technology is leveraged to support the School’s highly regarded teaching and research is one of five goal areas that drive School planning. In the two years prior to our partnership, advances in the use of technology for teaching and research have been isolated and have not created school-wide benefit. Main takeawaysOpenEye partnered with the Dean’s Office in the School of Education to Within four weeks of its first facilitated meeting with OpenEye, the School's strategic team had analyzed the root causes to a set of barriers preventing success, identified goal areas based on that analysis, and convened an implementation team. OpenEye continues to work with the UW-Madison School of Education to fine tune the implementation process of the plan and to facilitate new plans in other core areas within the School.
